Four European films

Some of the fallacies of  our times are that European movies are boring and dull. Well, to me it is actually the opposite. The more European movies I watch the more I find them interesting, entertaining, original, with a message to convey. It is unfortunate we have so few occassions to watch them. Any of the movies nominated to the oscars for best film are not better than the last four European movies I watched in the last two weeks, for example. Here they are:

Louise Michel (2008), Gustave Kervern, Benoît Delépine, France

Alle anderen (2009), Maren Ade, Germany

Love + Hate (2005), Dominic Savage, UK.

Des hommes et des dieux (2010),  Xavier Beauvois, France.

And from previous weeks, Kynodontas (Caninos), Pa Negre and many more.

      Te recomiendo especialmente Love+Hate.
Por cierto, esta semana con la reconquista ponen la peli el martes en lugar del lunes, por si te cuadra mejor para venir.
      Un beso.
